Project Z28

Project Z28 is a new project of the Industrial Technology Department at South Plains College, Levelland Campus.  We are using a 2000 Chevrolet Camaro Z28.

 

The engine is a 5.7 liter LS1.

Dyno tests will be performed to determine baseline performance levels before upgrades are made.
Students will get a chance to do hands on work to learn how to improve performance levels on this very popular car.
Structural work and roll bar will be done by the SPC Welding Department
Paint and Body work will be performed by the SPC Automotive Collision Repair Department
