Dear Athletic Directors and Coaches,
This is to inform you that we are going to change the declaration process. The information that you have now states that we are going to fax in your declarations on May 13, 2005. We are changing this process so that declarations are done on direct athletics. This will affect all events but the multi-events. The multi-event process has not and will not change. You will still fax in your entries on the appropriate form and declare/scratch your multi-event athletes on the appropriate dates. However, all other events have changed on how you will declare/scratch your athletes. The process will be as follows:

1. All updates must be finalized on direct athletics by May 9, 2005 by 5:00 p.m. c.s.t.
2. Scratches need to be made on direct athletics on May 13, 2005 by 5:00 p.m. c.s.t.
3. All entries that are not scratched on May 13, 2005 will automatically be declared.
If you do not scratch anything at all, then everything you have entered will be declared.
4. All white and blue card entries need to be listed during the declaration/scratch period on May 13, 2005 by 5:00 p.m. c.s.t.

MAY 15,2005
COACHES MEETING AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE TRACK TEAM ROOM LOCATED AT THE WEST END OF THE TRACK. PACKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE.

MAY 16, 2005
IMPLEMENT WEIGH-IN 8:00 A.M. ­ 9:00 A.M. PACKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM 8:00 - 9:00 IN THE TEAM ROOM AT THE TRACK.
