Texans Defeat Temple On The Road, 101-82

Temple, Texas - The twelfth ranked South Plains College Texans took their game on the road for the first time this season to play the Temple College Leopards. South Plains defeated Temple 107-77 just over a week ago at the Texan Dome, and were dominant once again, winning 101-82 and improving their record to 7-0.
The Texans were led by sophomore David Tairu who scored 26 points, and Bo Ingram added 15. Ladarius Hall came off the bench and scored 10 points, all in the first half.
South Plains will again take their game on the road when they travel to Plano, Texas to participate in the Collin County Classic. They will play tournament host Collin on Friday, November 28 at 8:00 p.m. and square off with Grayson College at 6:00 p.m. Saturday.
The next home game for both the Texans and Lady Texans will be December 6th versus Odessa College. Fans will be in for a special treat as former Texan basketball star Bo Outlaw will be in attendance and will be enshrined into the WJCAC and Texan Hall of Fames.
