Texans Face Weatherford November 22 At Texan Dome

LEVELLAND, Texas - The 12th ranked South Plains College Texan basketball team will be taking on Weatherford College Saturday at the Texan Dome. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.

The Texans, sporting a 5-0 record, are scoring an average of 97.0 points-per-game and allowing only 63.0 so far in the 2008-2009 season and have been led by sophomores David Tairu, Hugh Mingo, and Markhuri Sanders-Frison. Tairu is averaging 19.4 points-per-game, while Mingo is scoring 17.4 per contest, and Sanders-Frison is bringing down 9.2 rebounds-per-game.
