SPC Men Fall on Buzzer Beater

PLANO – The South Plains College Texans lost a heartbreaker to Grayson County College Saturday in the final game of the Collin County Classic. Grayson hit a shot at the buzzer to win 60-59.

The Texans had a 59-57 lead and the ball with 8 seconds left, but a missed layup turned into a Grayson fast break and the Vikings nailed a 3-pointer with 1.8 seconds remaining to pull out the improbable win.

Steven Harley led SPC with 28 points, Jermaine Bolden added 8 and Malik Motnii scored 7.
