SPC Men Move Into Finals of Scottsdale Tourney

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The South Plains College men's basketball team advanced to the championship game of the Scottsdale Tournament with an 83-69 win over Southeastern Iowa Wednesday in Arizona.

The Texans (10-2) will take on South Mountain College Thursday at 8 p.m. (MST) in the finals.

Against Southeastern Iowa, SPC raced out to a 41-30 halftime lead and had four players score in double figures. Steve Harley led the way with 21 points, while Jermaine Bolden added 20, Jonathan Hall had 11 points and 9 rebounds, and Lu Griffin scored 10 points and had 7 rebounds.
