Lady Texans Down Collin in Region V Quarterfinals
The South Plains College Lady Texans lost a 17-point lead but was able to hang on at the end for a 77-70 win over Collin County Community College Friday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the NJCAA Region V Tournament at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton.
Lady Texans Win Conference Title Outright
It was a night of celebrations at the Texan Dome in Levelland as the South Plains College Lady Texans wrapped up the Western Junior College Athletic Conference championship outright with an 86-53 win over New Mexico Junior College.
Lady Texans Clinch Conference Championship
The South Plains College Lady Texans clinched at least a share of the Western Junior College Athletic Conference championship with a 58-40 win over the Howard College Lady Hawks Monday in Big Spring.
