Lady Texans Easily Down Colorado Northwestern

RANGELY, Colo. – Every South Plains College player scored as the Lady Texans cruised to a 99-50 win over Colorado Northwestern Community College Friday in Rangely, Colo.

South Plains (6-2) had a 50-22 halftime lead and cruised to the 49 point win over the host team. The Lady Texans will conclude the CNCC Tournament with a Saturday afternoon game against the College of Eastern Utah.

Mariame Djouara led SPC with 22 points, while Brittany Blackmon added 19, Chasity Workman had 9 points and 11 rebounds, Krystal Davis scored 8, Haruka Nagado and McKenzie East both scored 7, Ashley Frazier had 6 points and 10 assists, Rachel Gray scored 6, Lindsey Lawless added 5, Shaniqua Henderson had 4 points and 10 rebounds, and Desiraye Broome and Kelsey Anderson both scored 3.
