SPC Women Start 2007 With 81-41 Win

MESA, Ariz. – The No. 3 ranked South Plains College Lady Texans started a three-game roadtrip through Arizona with an 81-41 win over Mesa College Tuesday.

Every player scored for South Plains (14-0), who led 45-20 at halftime.

Brittany Blackmon, Ashlee Roberson and Mariame Djoura each scored 14 points to place the Lady Texans. Alana Rumph added 12, Dominic Seals had 7 points and 7 rebounds, Ashley Frazier and Krystal Davis each added 6, Courtney Miller scored 4, Ashely Malone had 2 points and 8 rebounds, and A.J. Adams and Erica Knight both added 2 points.

SPC will travel to Phoenix to take on South Mountain College Wednesday at 6 p.m. (MST).
