In the students fourth semester, he or she is allowed to bring a project of their own to work on during the duration of the class.  Not only will students get to learn essential skills but they will receive hands on training on their own vehicle of choice.  Students are graded on their knowledge and ability to complete their project during this time.  Their project tests their skills, comprehension of materials and processes they have learned during the previous three semesters.  The excitement and satisfaction of completing a project of their own is a rewarding aspect of the fourth and final semester capstone.
