Personal: Born in Trieste, Italy; Lived in Italy, Philippines, North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia,             Mississippi, Texas. Ms. Steinhauer has a varied employment history with teaching college as her fifth career.      Both BS and MA were earned after age 40.

Family includes one daughter (Katrina), two sons (Olen & Ian), daughter in-law (Slavica), one granddaughter  (Margo) plus two dogs (Joey and Bear). Olen is a highly acclaimed author of a five books Eastern European       series plus a future movie (Warner Bros/George Clooney purchased).
