ITSE 1411 Online Course
Beginning Web Page Programming
- The student is required to go to https://webct.southplainscollege.edu and enter the WebCT ID and Password as described on the Login Page. The student should read the Course Syllabus and the Course Prerequisites for comprehension.
- The student will receive an e-mail from the instructor with a blank student questionnaire as an attachment. The student is required to e-mail the instructor using the WebCT mail tool by the third class day of the semester. The student will verify in this e-mail that he/she has the minimum technology skills as stated later in this document. The student will also verify in this e-mail that he/she has access to a computer with the minimum system requirements as stated later in this document. The student will include the completed student questionnaire as an attachment to their WebCT e-mail.
- The student will receive instructions on how to get started with the course by the third class day of the semester conditional upon sending the required e-mail.

- 128 MB available hard drive space and 64 MB RAM
- Pentium II, 233 MHz or higher processor
- VGA display
- Mouse or compatible point device
- Browser – Internet Explorer is needed to access web links that will support WebCT.
- Notepad is needed to develop HTML and scripting languages
