New Student Experience (Freshman Orientation)

Orientation is an important part of a new student getting set for college life. In an orientation a student learns about what college life is like, and what will be expected of them. The adjustment can be difficult and we know that an orientation can help. That is why we offer New Student Experience.

All of our locations are listed below. We would ask that you attend orientation at the location that best serves your needs rather than what is geographically convienient.

  • Main Campus Levelland: If you plan to take courses toward a bachelor's degree and transfer at some point, your specific major is offered only in Levelland, or if you plan to take the majority of your classes in the morning / traditional school day; attending an orientation in Levelland will be most appropriate for you.

  • Reese: The Reese Center is mainly an evening and/or technical program campus. If you have a major that is only offered at the Reese Center, or plan to take the majority of your courses in the evening then this would be the most appropriate for you.

  • Byron-Martin Center: BMATC is a technical program campus. If your major is offered here, and this is where you will be attending your courses, it would be most appropriate to attend an orientation here.

  • Plainview Center: If you plan on attending courses in Plainview, then attending orientation here is most appropriate.
