A comprehensive program of training designed to provide the skills necessary to enter a highly demanded, rewarding career is available for you at South Plains College.          DST at SPC offers a certificate of proficiency which is attained upon successful completion of the technical training courses as outlined in the college catalog. Also, an Associate of Applied Science degree is granted upon successful completion of an additional 18 hours of general academic courses. In Addition there are 2 different 1 year certificates that are TSI (Texas Success Initiative) waived, not requiring a student to pass the TSI tests.
