South Plains College SKILLS-USA Team for 2003


	In a SKILLS-USA competition, students can compete in practical skill contests, written technical knowledge, and chapter business operations.The South Plains College team competed in all of these groups of competition.

Opening and Closing team This is the team that took silver in the meeting Opening & Closing competition. Members are from automotive, diesel, HVAC and collision repair.

Welding Technical Knowledge, Gold, Silver, Bronze The Welding Technology students in competition won Gold, Silver and Bronze in Technical Knowledge

There is another contest within SKILL-USA that is a contest of general knowledge, known as the Quiz Bowl. The team here won a silver medal in that competition. This team consists of students from the automotive, diesel, welding and collision repair technical programs. Quiz Bowl Silver medal team

Diesel Technical Knowledge, Silver and Bronze The two students here won the Silver (Rebecca Funk) and Bronze (Brian Hubbard) in the diesel technical knowledge competition. Way to go!
