Sid Pipkin
In 1932, Clovis, NM resident, Sid Pipkin witnessed television for the
first time. Twenty years later he hoped to build a television station on TV
channel 12. A week before KDUB began regular programming Mr. Pipkin was
able to tune in channel 13 as it was being tested at its temporary location
at the Lubbock National Bank building.
