Jim Isaacs

Jim Isaacs, 78, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999.

Services were held Jan. 8, 2000, in San Pedro, Calif. The body was cremated.

Mr. Isaacs lived in Abilene in the 1950s and 1960s and was an owner of KPAR-TV, served as president of the Abilene Philharmonic, was active in the Abilene Community Theatre, emceed the Miss Abilene Contest, and was an advocate for community issues.

Survivors include his wife, Gina Hicks Isaacs of California; one son, Jimmy Isaacs of California; one daughter, Toni Roberts of California; two grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
