KDUB-TV began transmitting from a temporary location atop the Lubbock National Bank building in November of 1952.  The next year it moved to a permanent location at 7400 College Ave (University Ave.).  In 1960 Dub Rogers sold KDUB-TV, and other stations that were part of the West Texas Television Network, to Syd Grayson.  Dub Rogers kept the business files, photographs and films from KDUB-TV.  In 1995 he donated the collection to South Plains College.

This section of the Dub Rogers website contains information about the employees of KDUB-TV, interviews and articles about Dub Rogers and KDUB and miscellaneous material from the collection that has been digitized for distribution over the Internet.

Researchers that need access to the Dub Rogers Collection or that would like to reproduce material from this collection need to contact John Sparks.  See the section About the Collection for more information.
