| Plans Are Set For Open House
At Video Station Lubbock Sunday Sun, April 5, 1953 Plans have been formulated for the grand opening of Television City, the new home of KDUB-TV, 74th and College Avenue. The dates for the official showing of the massive headquarters of Lubbock's and West Texas' first television outlet have been announced as from Friday, April 10, through Tuesday April 14. A sneak preview for families of employees and for the station's clients has been scheduled from 8 to 2:00 p. m. Thursday. The public has been invited to visit the station to look over the equipment and to meet the station personnel from 6 until 11 p. m. However, Sunday hours have been set from 2 until 11 p. m. During the open house, staff members will be on hand to show visitors through the modern new building. Observation of station programming may be made by visitors from special rooms setup for that purpose. |
