Bart Sanders, Instructor

Mr. Sanders has been involved with emergency medical care in Lubbock County since 1996.  He graduated from his paramedic course in 1999 from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas and was bestowed the ‘Spirit of the Golden Hour’ award by his instructors.  He has worked as an ER technician, a physician extender, a state certified 911 dispatcher, a South Plains College skills instructor, and served seven years as a licensed paramedic for Lubbock EMS. While working for Lubbock EMS, he served as a field training officer, on the special operations teams as the Honor Guard Team Captain, and was on the committee for the Lubbock Regional Public Safety Memorial as the regional EMS representative.

 Bart went on to become a Nationally Registered Paramedic and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Services Management from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2006.  

Most recently, Bart has worked for the city of Wolfforth Fire & EMS service as a field paramedic and has come to work at South Plains College as an instructor.

 

Bart lives in Lubbock, Texas and is married with two children.
