South Plains Tech Prep Day

Students from all classes within the program participated at the South Plains Tech Prep day at the Memorial Civic Center in Lubbock.  Below are pictures of students performing and explaining different procedures that are completed by emergency medical technicians and paramedics on a daily basis.

Airway Dissection Lab

The EMT Intermediate class completes an airway lab where each student evaluates and is allowed to dissect the airway, lungs, and heart of a pig.  This is a hands on lab that allows the students to see the structures of the heart and airway rather than from pictures and slides.  (These pictures are not for the viewer with a weak stomach).
