2001-2002 Self-Study Report

South Plains College is presently engaged in an examination of itself under the guidance of the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). The purpose of the institutional self-study program is to maintain and improve institutional effectiveness and to provide the public with reliable professional judgements about the educational quality found at South Plains College.

This Self-Study site is intended to provide those involved in the evaluation process with a vehicle for distributing information and findings to the college community as a whole.

The self-study is being directed by Gary Poffenbarger, associate professor of English. Co-director is Jamie Biggers, dean of technical education. Members of the Steering Committee include the following:
