As Director of the Teaching and Learning Center, I welcome you to my webpage. Below are listed some of the things I help students with at South Plains College:
- Present Success Seminars on a variety of topics, including test-taking skills, controlling test anxiety, note-taking techniques, focusing attention, setting goals, using personality information for academic success, learning styles time management, study skills, and others
- Provide "College Success" information at New Student Orientation
- Provide tutor training for nationally certified program.
- Provide peer-tutoring services.
- Provide computer-aided instructional services.
- Provide learning strategies and college success courses.
- Provide TSI test information, advisement, and skill development.
