Assignments must be turned in by 4:00 pm on the due date to receive full credit. Late assignments will be taken up to one week late, but no later. Late points will be subtracted.

To install Visual Studio software on a home computer, you may download the Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition .
Read chapter 1 and go over Review Questions and Exercises before class. Be prepared to answer questions in class. Thurs 1/21 or Mon 1/25

Bring USB drive to class !!

During lab today, set up project workspace according to instructions in Using C++ Express 2008. Enter and run first C++ program from handout given in class. Make sure you can run the program, enter values for hours and pay rate, and see the correct answer. How would you change the program to calculate overtime pay? We will discuss this in class. Thurs 1/21 or Mon 1/25
Register for CodeLab. Thurs 1/21 or Mon 1/25
CodeLab assignments for chapter 2. Finish by due date: 1/29
Restaurant Bill program. Instructions will be given in class. Turn in during lab. Tues 1/26 or Weds 1/27
