South Plains College offers selected health occupations programs on its Levelland Campus, the SPC Reese Center and the Plainview Extension Center.  The division is organized into two departments that offer 21 individual programs and curriculum options.

Today's health occupations careers provide many opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others.  The professions that make up this growing field of employment are varied, technology-driven and personally rewarding for those practioners who enjoy working with people and assisting others.

South Plains College's Health Occupations Division provides ten different health occupations programs that can prepare you for a lifetime career as a healthcare provider.  Each program is monitored by an advisory committee comprised of representatives from education and the medical community who keep the programs up-to-date with changing demands.  Five of the programs are nationally accredited and all meet state requirements for licensure and professional certification.

As the primary provider of allied health education and training on the South Plains, the SPC Health Occupations division  maintains a 98% graduate placement rate and an 89% licensure exam passage rate. Program faculty work with students to develop the knowledge, skills and aptitudes necessary to be successful in a chosen health career.  The division has the reputation of producing graduates who care about their patients, who are willing to share their skills as part of a team, and who dare to make a difference in the lives of others.

If you are willing to take up the challenge of caring, sharing and daring, this website will help you explore the different associate degree and certificate options that are available to you.
