LEADERSHIP SKILLS FOR SUPERVISORS/MANAGERS
Concepts and Skills of leadership in the work setting. Introduces leadership and motivational theories and leadership styles. Includes evaluation of leadership performance.
OUTCOMES: Describe leadership styles; practice application of major leadership theories; demonstrate communication styles.

INDUSTRIAL SAFETY TRAINING
The educational content within this nine day course (70 hours) will comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. This course will be taught by certified OSHA instructors. Material and certifications within this course are designed for prospective industrial maintenance employees. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be better equipped to recognize the hazards associated within the industrial setting and obtain the required certifications where applicable. Upon completion of this 70 hour training, South Plains College will issue a CEU certificate acknowledging your completion of the entire course. A name badge including your picture on the front and certifications on the back will be issued to each student. OSHA certification cards will also be issued, as well as first aide/CPR certification cards issued by the American Heart Association.
The cost of the course is $2,300.00
