SPC receives $2.87 million grant for developing programs

South Plains College has been awarded a five-year, $2.87
million Title V grant from the United States Department of
Education to develop three new high-demand associate degree
programs.

The Agriculture Building recently on the Levelland campus
had a scare when there was indeed some “Smokin’ in the Boys
Room.”
A small fire was set in
the men’s restroom by an unknown person who started the
blaze, presumably, with a lighter of some sort.

Halloween Carnival set for Oct. 27

Student Activities Office at South Plains College celebrates
Halloween by hosting the Halloween Carnival.
The carnival is
set for Oct. 27, held in the Student Activities Center and
begins at 6 p.m. The event offers a fun time for everyone to
look forward to.
Area students to attend Allied Health Day
