Blurred vision in visual world

In a visual world, vision is often taken for granted.

But in my life, vision is excepted with gratitude and open arms.  Many times I’ve asked myself, do other people see what I see, and how I see it? 

Do other people understand what it is like to wake up one day and see clearly, and wake up the next and not be able to see five feet in front of you?

Troubles in Columbia may lead to higher gas prices

Two things that plague society are the need for oil and war. 

 

Considering recent events dealing with Colombia, it seems as though these two things coincide. The conflict in South America arose when Colombia crossed the border of Ecuador to perform a deadly assault against the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, a Colombian-based rebel group, a guerilla organization also known as the FARC.

 

 

Pop culture aids in public self-destruction

I find that it is pretty interesting to simply sit back and observe the people around you, as well as those in the media and common American idols in the world of music of  music and politics.

People’s actions say more about their true motivations and values than anything. This is shown by their interests in material things and how far they are willing to go to protect their "treasure."
