head coach at Richmond High School in California, Carter made national news
by locking his basketball team out of the gym until they improved their
grades. On April 13, Coach Carter spoke at Texas Tech University about life

Too young to play in the NBA?

the NBA is having conversations about whether or not to
implement an age restriction on incoming rookies. If the rule is
indeed put in place, players younger than 20 years of age cannot
play in the NBA.

basketball player Tara Lisle signed a letter of intent to play
for Tarleton State University in Stephenville on April 13 in the
Texan Dome.
