Makin ' tracks

South Plains College will host the National Junior College Athletic Association Outdoor Track and Field Championships May 16-18. 

This is the third time SPC has hosted the event.  More than 800 male and female athletes will be competing in the event, and 60 NJCAA Division I squads will be represented. 

The field events and the 10,000 meter men’s and women’s races will be held on May 16.  On May 17, the competition will feature the field event finals and running event preliminaries, with the running event finals set for May 18.
