'Ice Age: The Meltdown'

The ice age is ending, and all the animals are glad that it is a warm again.

But what they don’t know is that the land will flood. That’s the story behind “Ice Age: The Meltdown.”

The crazy squirrel Scrat is back, though this time he is in the whole movie. Scrat is still chasing after his acorn, as he was in the first movie.

Manny, Sid and Diego voiced by Ray Romano, John Leguizamo and Denis Leary, respectively learn that the ice is melting fast and the dam is breaking, which will cause the land to flood. The only way to survive is to make it to the end of the valley.

Manny also learns that he might be the only mammoth left on the planet.

So the three friends being to set out on an adventure to the end of the valley.

While walking, they run into another mammoth named Ellie with Queen Laifah providing the voice for the character. Ellie thinks that she is a possum. They also run into her two brothers that are possums, Crash and Eddie with Josh Peck and Sean William Scott providing the voices.

So Sid and Diego tell Manny that he should invite Ellie, and her brothers to join them, because if he is the only mammoth left, he can save them with Ellie. The only problem is that Manny is having a hard time talking Ellie into realizing that she is a mammoth and not a possum.

They finally make it to the end of the valley, but it wasn’t an easy trip. They end up running into hot steam shooting up from the ground. Ellie and her brothers decide to go another way, while Manny, Diego and Sid go through it.

They finally make it to the boat that was waiting at the end of the valley when Manny starts looking for Ellie. Crash and Eddie go then look for Manny because Ellie is trapped in a cave. So Manny goes back to save her.

Then Scrat causes one of the dams of ice to crack down the middle, re;easing the water.

All the animals are saved, and they thank Manny, Diego and Sid for saving them.

If you liked the first Ice Age you like love the second one. So go see it for yourself, and find out what happens next. You will laugh so hard while watching this movie.
