AlternaTV, South Plains College’s very own rock band, began two and a half years ago when John Hartin, longtime chairman of the Creative Arts Department, had a vision for a rock n’ roll television show came to life.

One of America’s biggest fears is one that could benefit you the most.
 

In order to have a successful career, one must be comfortable presenting information in front of a group of people. The only way to make a great invention and hope that it gets out to the public is to push the idea to the superiors. Lack of skill in public speaking could cost you your money or even a career.
