'Thank You for Smoking' Filtered with Funny

The new satirical comedy about a Washington, D.C. lobbyist for tobacco takes hits at anything you can possibly think of including tobacco, guns, liberals, rednecks, liquor, and smokers.

The movie, though hidden behind the idea of smoking, actual foreshadows the “Age of Spin,” where no matter who the spokesperson is, they may come out misunderstood.

Wild” because you will be very entertained. This is a great film that isn’t corny or cheesy. It’s really good, and it has a very good message in it. It also features music from Coldplay, so you know that is a huge plus.

 

Octopus Project Electrifies Lubbock

Bruce Robison is a towering figure in country music.  Literally.

He stands at a staggering six-foot-seven, and is probably one of the greatest country songwriters of all time.  Why haven’t you heard of him?  Well, that is because he lets top singers such as Tim McGraw, The Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill, and George Strait do all of the vocal work.
