Hogg Maulies bring fresh sound from small town
by Britni Palomino, editorial assistant
The Hogg Maulies are changing how people see a smalltown
country band.
For these
smalltown guys, music isn’t just a hobby, it’s their way of
life. The band consists of five members. Rode Morrow, the
lead vocalist who also plays guitar, is from Rotan, Texas.
He is currently a full-time student at Texas Tech University
and has been playing for six years. He was most influenced
by his father, who also played in a band in Sweetwater, so
he was around country music all the time.
