Students prepare for life-changing mission trips

This summer, eight South Plains College students will be getting amazing opportunities to go to different places around the state, the country, and even the world.

The majority of these students have been very involved in the Baptist Student Ministry and are able to go on these trips through an organization called Go Now Missions. Go Now is part of the Baptist General Convention for College Students. It is a non-profit organization and receives its funding through donations.  

Cox setting path for future generations

Surgery just another snapshot in life for Heath

Graduating from high school is one the happiest moments in a student's life. All Jenn Heath wanted to do was make it across the stage.

 During her senior year at Cotton Center High School, Heath, who was 18 years old at the time, was diagnosed with a benign tumor on her pituitary gland.
