Gypsy Cab
Company goes on last ride
by Jacqui Streety
Local
self-proclaimed “Spunk Rock” band, The Gypsy Cab Co. played their very last
show on Sept. 11 at Tokyo Joe’s. Despite the fact that this was their last
gig as a band, they provided the usual Gypsy Cab Co. aura—a great time.
Vocalist/guitarist John Reedy took the stage with a smile and like always
began with humorous commentary. They played a set list familiar to their
fans and took requests for the last half of the show—a sign suggesting they
have a lot of fans who know their music.
