Survivor Gays AS. Straights

by Ray Buffington, editor-in-chief

Sometimes I reminisce on the days before hopeless single gals marrying wealthy strangers, diehard, do-anything athletes eating raw, stomach-turning (and sometimes still alive) items for cash, and washed-up celebrities drinking massive amounts of alcohol while making fools of themselves became the norm for television primetime entertainment.

MySpace mayhem 'Friendly' forum lacks real friends

by Robert Box, staff writer

Now, I know that I’m probably not going to make any friends with this article, but I didn’t send any requests out anyway.

Let’s face it though, it’s time someone said it…Myspace is evil.  O.K., maybe that’s going a bit far, but it’s still not as cool as everyone says it is.  It’s addicting, yes, but cool?  No.

by Sawyer Thomas, staff writer

True, an instructor might be able to stop a students' rude or snide comments and remarks, or put an end to tension between two or more students.  But what exactly can a teacher do about judgmental glances and off-book comments?  How can a teacher bring an end to the tension that sort of environment creates?  The tension can be so thick that you could cut it like Land-O-Lakes butter, but there also is a sense of fear, fear between students because one attribute or quality that makes them different.

by Jon Kay, staff writer

The U.S. Army will be responsible for more deaths because a soldier’s life is apparently not worth that much to them.
