Sparks ignites ambitions of students

For a lot of students, it is incredibly hard to arrive at
school full of energy and ready to go in the early-morning
classes.
John Sparks is just able to make it
interesting and it is incredibly easy to be energetic in his
class. He is a professor who can just keep you motivated.
Autism growing concern for parents

Primarily
affecting the abilities of communication, and social
interaction, Autism affects one in every 150 school-aged
children, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control
and Prevention (CDC). Unfortunately, the cause for Autism
has yet to be defined. Cases vary from mild to severe forms
of Autism. Autism is also considered a Spectrum Disorder
because of its different forms and variations. Autism is
different for each individual.
New mascot, old tradition

It has been about five years since Terrible Tex has stepped
foot onto the Texan Dome floor.
However, this coming basketball season
he, or she as it turns out, will make an appearance once
again. Wearing a brand new suit and portraying the
personality of South Plains College’s mascot is going to be
freshman Stacie Wirmel.
