Owens biggest problem for Cowboys early in season

During the past couple of weeks, Terrell Owens has not performed as well as his mouth says he will.  Actually he hasn’t performed at all. 

In the third week of the season, the Cowboys played the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, and Owens only had two receptions.  Granted, Al Harris, an exceptional cornerback, was constantly pressing Owens, and never gave him the chance to really get started.  Owens did pull his weight in the victory over Green Bay, though, when he helped throw several blocks to spring the running backs for touchdowns, boosting his team by doing the little things. 

Patriots pick to win Super Bowl not a good decision

And the 2009 Super Bowl goes to…none other than last year’s runner-up, the New England Patriots.

At least that’s what Sports Illustrated readers were  told by one of sports’ most coveted publications when its 2008-2009 National Football League season preview was unveiled.  The Patriots were to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles, who failed to make the playoffs last season.

NFC East looks to be top division in NFL

After squeaking three teams into the playoffs last year, the NFC East is at again.

Through the first three weeks of the season, the Eagles, Cowboys and Giants all looked superb while playing opponents such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Green Bay Packers, before the Washington Redskins had a shootout in the fourth week with the Cowboys, ending in a 26-24 victory for the Redskins.

Rodeo Team Comes Out Of The Chutes For 2008 Season

The South Plains College Texans and Lady Texans kicked off their 2008 fall rodeo season on the right note with strong showings at the Eastern New Mexico University Rodeo.
