wife; Nathaniel Herman as Ray-Bud, their son; Andrea Cook as Lucelle, his
wife; Jerred Tochterman as Junior, their other son; Joanie Harrell as
Suzanne, his wife; Mariel Ramirez as Marguerite, Bud’s sister; and Taylor
Atteberry as Royce, her son.
Other cast members are: Callie Thurman as Delightful, Bud’s daughter; Randal
Ramirez as Rev. Hooker; Julianne Mara as Vea, an elderly woman; Taylor
Atteberry as Norval, her husband; Callie Thurman as Nadine, a young woman;
Easton Day as Clyde, a friend; Mara as Juanita, a cousin by marriage and;
Mariel Ramirez, Thurman, Jack Grist, and Atteberry as the Joy of Life
singers. The play will be directed by Gene Cole, assistant professor of
theatre arts at SPC.
“I hope there will be more people,” Cole said, “Of course, “Arsenic and Old
Lace” might be better known, and the people around here have the tendency to
go see what they already know and have already seen.”
Cole would like to thank everyone who came out to see “Arsenic and Old Lace”
and encourages everyone to come see “Dearly Departed.”
Come join the funeral.
