Digging for Equality: 'North Country'

Imagine going to work everyday praying that you won’t get sexually harassed.

“North Country” is a brilliant movie directed by Niki Caro.  This movie is destined to attract awards like moths to a fire.

The film opens with facts about women and when they began to work in mines.

Foggy Plot Line Kills Movie

The movie "The Fog" is about well, fog. But not just any fog, killer fog. Killer fog with ghosts out for revenge. And honestly, fog is really not scary.

The plot revolves around the small coastal town of Antonio Bay. It has been one century since the founders of  the fictional Antonio Bay burned and destroyed an incoming ship filled with many passengers, who all died with the ship. This travesty happened on a dark and foggy night. The cast includes Tom Welling, Maggie Grace, and Selma Blair.

'Elizabethtown': Making Most of Second Chances

“Elizabethtown” is about a young man who works for a big-time Oregon shoe company, and he causes them to lose hundreds of millions of dollars.

Drew Baylor (Orlando Bloom) is fired for his mistake, and he is automatically dumped by his girlfriend, Ellen (Jessica Biel). On the verge of suicide, Drew finds out that his father has just died, and he has to make a trip to Kentucky to talk to his father’s side of the family.

'Into the Blue' Takes Dive

“Into the Blue” is about a group of divers that find a sunken shipwreck and a crashed airplane at the bottom of the Caribbean.

Soaking up the sun in the Bahamas, fortune hunters Jared (Paul Walker) and Sam (Jessica Alba) are living in the poor parts of this magical island, with dreams of a better life.  When Jared’s reckless lawyer friend (Scott Caan) and his prolonged one-night-stand (Ashley Scott) come down for a visit, a routine diving expedition reveals a long lost ship wreck, along with a crashed airplane overflowing with cocaine.
