Discovering a Texas Treasure: Livin' in Levelland

Levelland has been deemed one of the best places to live in the United States. 

With low crime rates, low property taxes, and a great school system, Levelland is a great place to live or raise a family, according to a national website that rated cities across the nation.  Called “The Mosaic City” because of the mosaics that decorate buildings all over town, including the South Plains College campus and the Chamber of Commerce, it is also one of the prettiest.

SPC Jazz Band Charts First Concert

After weeks of practicing, the SPC Jazz Band is ready to take the stage in their first concert of the year.

Dr. Bruce Keeling, professor of music, and Al Gardner, professor of music have combined talents of both students and faculty for this extraordinary event.

Texan Radio Returns to Airwaves

Texan Radio is now back on the air, and can be heard streaming on the web.

The music genre will be Contemporary Hit Radio (CHR)/Top 40 Rock. The station will play various hours of music featuring Country, Urban, and Latin artists. Texan Radio is set to broadcast 24 hours a day with news, weather, and sports updates throughout the day.
