What I Hate About Concerts

I’m
not one who is easily annoyed, and I’m not one to complain.
But
there are a few things that make me very mad. So for the next few minutes or
so, I’m going to explain to you why and how these things make me mad.
It
drives me insane when you’re at a concert and the band thinks that they are
way too good to meet their fans. They shouldn’t act like they’re better than
everyone else because they aren’t.
I’ve
met quite a few bands, such as: Papa Roach, Shadows Fall, and American Head
Charge. These bands are very friendly and very nice. They like to hang out
with their fans and sign autographs. These are the bands that have a large
fan base.
I was
recently at the Avenged Sevenfold concert and learned the hard way, that
they were jerks. They wouldn’t meet or sign autographs for anyone. I guess
they thought that they were too good to meet their fans. Just because they
have a CD or have money doesn’t make them any different than us. If it
weren’t for their fans, they wouldn’t have the money that they have right
now.
Another thing that just annoys the heck out of me is when overweight people
crowd surf. There should be a weight limit. It hurts people’s necks and arms
trying to keep them from falling on them. I’m not trying to be ugly, but
come on people. Use common sense. You can hurt someone underneath you or
even cause some major neck damage.
And
what’s up with the security guards? I do believe that it is illegal to smoke
weed in the United States.
So why should some be allowed to smoke it in a club or at a concert? I know
that the security guard can smell it. They should kick them out. I know
that they can notice that them passing it around. I also think that the
security guards could be a lot nicer. Rudeness won’t get you anywhere.
Also,
you know how certain clubs make you take off any thing that is spiked and
studded. But why would you make some one take a belt off? I know that if it
has spikes that it would be, dangerous but studs? It’s just dumb. I
understand why they make you take the spikes off, because some one could get
hurt. I still don’t get the whole stud thing. I just hate it when you’re
wearing one and then they make you take it off.
Have
you ever been at a concert and seen some of those little girls dressed like
sluts? First of all, what’s the deal with that? Most rock bands don’t pay
attention to the way you dress. I hate having to worry about the girls and
guys who are wearing flip flops because then you have to worry about
stepping on their toes. You should wear comfortable shoes.
The
last thing that annoys me is when people start throwing cups and bottles,
and sometimes shoes, in to the crowd or at the band. People don’t like
smelling like beer or getting hit with things. So don’t do it.
Hopefully, when I go to the next concert the band wont be jerks, the crowd
will use some common sense and the security guards will lighten up. Everyone
goes to have fun, so let’s have some fun. Rock on!
