Baker breaks from Hollywood to pursue education

At 21, Brooke Baker, a sophomore public relations major at South Plains College proves this theory to be very true. 

'Threads, Locks, and Rocks' depicts 'Love/Hate' through fashion, hair, music

Fashion recently collided with performance art during a show in Lubbock.

“Threads, Locks and Rocks,” a performance art fashion show, presented its third show on Oct. 18 at Klusoz Ultra Lounge and Martini Bar. This year’s theme was “Love/Hate.” 

Toisha Humphry, director, creator, and conceptual artist, said this show consists of all levels of love and hate.

Nationwide talent showcased in bluegrass program
