SPC rodeo teams finish with success

The South Plains College rodeo team finished the fall season with more success at the Texas Tech Rodeo.

Cassie Vierstra, a freshman from Twin Falls, Idaho, led the way again, placing first in goat tying with a total time of 16.2.            

Cody Jordan from Hobbs, N.M. teamed up with New Mexico Junior College’s Brandon Jordan to finish third in team roping with a total time of 15.2 seconds.

Stewart Kinley of Gladstone, Manitoba, scored a 68 in the first round of the bull riding, but failed to receive a score in the short round.
