The Helen DeVitt Jones Theatre for the Performing Arts was filled with the sounds of several talented artists during the formal dedication of the Christine DeVitt Fine Arts Center, Jones Theatre, and the Vickie Wilks Wisian Recital Hall.

Students invited to participate in NASA logo design contest

South Plains College and Tarrant County Community College students are invited to enter a contest supported by NASA.

The contest involves designing a logo for the team of educators who will be flying on NASA’s Reduced Gravity Aircraft in January.

 

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting slated for Dec. 2

Nothing says Christmas like hot chocolate, singing, Christmas lights, and Santa Claus.

South Plains College’s Office of Student Activities is hosting an opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit. On Dec. 2, SPC will hold its annual Christmas Tree Lighting, an ongoing tradition for 51 years.
