The Lady Texans are well on their way to another successful season.

They have started the season off 8-0 and have defeated seven of their first eight opponents by double digits.

Sanders-Frison, Ming ink letters of intent to continue basketball careers

Texan basketball players Markhuri Sanders-Frison and Hugh Mingo recently signed National Letters of Intent to continue their basketball careers with four-year universities.

Mingo, a 6-foot-3 guard from West Monroe, Louisiana, is going back home to complete his college basketball career at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

'Bo' Outlaw returning to Dome for Hall of Fame induction

Former South Plains College basketball player Charles “Bo” Outlaw will be at the Texan Dome in December.

Outlaw will be inducted into the Texans Hall of Fame and the Western Junior College Athletic Conference on Dec. 6 during halftime of the men’s basketball game against Odessa College.
