Who's Who

Cary Banks, chairperson of the Creative Arts Department
and assistant professor of commercial music, along with Dr. Jackie Wright,
professor of anatomy and physiology, have been named to Who’s Who Among
America’s Teachers for the 2004-2005 8th edition.
Transfer Day is
Feb. 8

Representatives from 14 different universities will be visiting South Plains
College to help students with any questions on transfer issues during Transfer
Day.
"Carnival" set for
Feb. 24 at SPC Theatre

The South Plains College theatre
arts program will present a musical play called “Carnival”. This
book was written by Michael Stewart, with music and lyrics
written by Bob Merrill.
Opening night
is set for Feb. 24, with the performance beginning at 7:30 p.m.
other performances also will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 25 and
Feb. 26, with a matinee set for 2 p.m. on Feb. 27. Tickets for
the performance are $5 for students and $10 for adults.

High school seniors from South Plains
College’s 17-county service area, in addition to those from
seven nearby counties, have been invited to the campus for the
annual Senior Sneak Preview on Feb.11.

at South Plains College throughout the spring semester to speak with students
who are interested in transferring to Texas Tech University.
