Faculty, Student Satisfaction Receive High Marks in College's Annual Performance Report

The annual performance report for South Plains College recently was released, and the college and its faculty have received good grades.

Gay Straight Alliance Forming at SPC

South Plains College’s Gay Straight Alliance, a new student organization created by students this semester, will hold its first meeting on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 12:15 p.m. in room 122 of the Administration Building.

 

Duffell Named New Registrar

If you have seen a new face on campus this semester, it just may be the man who approves your graduation.

His name is Justin Duffell, the new registrar at South Plains College. His journey to SPC began not on the South Plains, but on the West Coast.  Born and raised in Bakersfield, California, Duffell made the move to Plainview in 1996 to complete his bachleor of arts degree at Wayland Baptist University in May  2000.  After he had finished his degree, he continued at Wayland, but not as a student.  Duffell worked in the Registrar’s Office and served as an academic advisor for three years.

South Plains College definitely ended 2005 on a good note with the accreditation of its paralegal program to the American Association for Paralegal Education (AAPE).

This accreditation will definitely shine some light on SPC according to Joseph Kline, program director.
