overall by Bill Parcells when he coached the New England
Patriots in 1993, I knew a reunion in Dallas was inevitable.

any other race. But it wasn’t always this way.

Texans capture WJCAC championship,
prepare for Region V Tournament

For only the
third time in head coach Lyndon Hardin’s career, he and the Lady
Texans Women’s Basketball team has captured the Western Junior
College Athletic Conference Championship. They have advanced as
a top seed and the highest ranked team for the National Junior
College Athletic Association Region V Tournament, which will be
held March 10-13 at the Rip Griffin Center at the campus of
Lubbock Christian University. The Lady Texans are currently
ranked No. 2 in the NJCAA, the highest ranking in program
history. SPC recently finished its regular season with an 80-44
win over Howard College, and ended the regular season with a
26-2 overall record and an 11-1 record in WJCAC play.

The NCAA Tournament is known for annually simulating ‘David
versus Goliath’ situations. But this year, there aren’t many
Goliaths. Even the teams that are presently presenting the best
resumes have found themselves in countless, tough situations
against “mediocre” teams. Why aren’t the college basketball
juggernauts dominating this year?
